We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Product Owner to join our team!.
YOUR ROLE
The Product Owner will collaborate closely with development and design teams and oversee the development of products from start to finish to ensure they meet the requirements and preferences of relevant stakeholders. Their main duties include collaborating on the overall vision of products, determining sprint priorities, managing various backlog items and deciding which features each product will have according to requirements and preferences.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Accountabilities/Primary Responsibilities/Core duties
Collaborate with users, clients, and stakeholders and DigiSol leadership to collect requirements, inform product vision and contribute to DigiSol product roadmap
Prioritise the day to day work of the software development team, manage backlog, clearing the roadblocks for and streamlining the communication within the development team
Contribute to and ensure product roadmap delivery and report product development progress to stakeholders and management
Analyse and prioritise user and customer requirements in the context of product vision, priorities, established roadmap, DigiSol’s resource and RCS’ business goals
Supporting users with issues using the software, answering questions and providing guidance
Support Product Manager / Unit Leadership on the competitor and market research and analysis of competing products. Particular focus on features, architecture, use cases
Close collaboration with engineering & design teams to transform customer and user requirements into development deliverables (preparing specs, user stories, mockups, and designs for the team)
Managing GitHub and project pipeline for respective products
Facilitating workshops with internal/external stakeholders on product development
Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
Leading/running in Scrum meetings and product sprints
Creating of up to date product documentation and user guides
Between 3 - 5 years of experience in a Product Owner role, or a similar one, such as Product Management.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
Experience with product research and UX research, gathering requirements from multiple business stakeholders.
Working knowledge of product development architecture
Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
Ability to prioritize effectively
Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles
Excellent oral and written communication
Should have a good knowledge of software development and other relevant web technologies.
Have proven hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
