Michael Chenard

Michael Chenard has a diverse work experience in various roles related to sustainability and environmental management. Michael is currently serving as the Senior Vice President at Global Integrated Services since January 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President - Sustainability at RCS Logistics Inc. starting from August 2017. Michael also worked as the Principal at Chart House Enterprises from January 2017.

In addition, Michael served as the General Manager at Southern Distilling Company from March 2020 to November 2023. Michael was also an Affiliate Partner at HIRA Home Improvement Retail Advisors, LLC from December 2016 to May 2019, focusing on sustainability in the home improvement industry. Furthermore, they worked as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Nothing But Green Living Enterprises, LLC, promoting sustainable cleaning products from January 2017 to October 2018.

Earlier in their career, Michael held the position of Vice President Strategic Development at The Big Beverage Company from May 2017 to September 2018. Michael also served as the Director of Corporate Sustainability at Lowe's Companies, Inc. for 14 years from April 2002 to September 2016. Prior to that, they were a Senior Corporate Environmental Engineer at Pitney Bowes, Inc. from May 2000 to December 2001.

In addition to their corporate roles, Michael also served as a Board Member at American Forests from December 2010 to October 2014. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental leadership.

Michael Chenard received their BA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Michael further pursued their education at Duke University, completing a MEM degree in Corporate Environmental Management from 1995 to 1997.
