Jonathan Bakebwa

Jonathan Bakebwa has a diverse work experience that spans across various roles and companies. Jonathan is currently working as the CTO at Mirror World since September 2021. Prior to this, they founded and served as the CEO at Xtellar Works, Inc. starting from August 2021. Jonathan also holds a position as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer at rct AI since November 2021, where they previously worked as a Software Engineer focusing on Ethereum and Vue.js from August 2021 to February 2022. In 2020, they were a Maintainer at Chakra UI Vue.

Jonathan's earlier work experience includes being a volunteer for the Website & App Development Team at Phaneroo Ministries International since March 2015, where they primarily worked on design and WordPress deployment for the organization's website. Jonathan also played a significant role as a Co-founder, Software Engineer, and CTO at Akkadu from April 2018 to May 2021, where they worked on simultaneous interpretation software using Vue and achieved low latency compared to competitors. Additionally, Jonathan worked as a Secretary at A23 Labs from January 2015 to March 2016 and as a Database Administrator at FIT Uganda from January 2015 to July 2015.

Jonathan Bakebwa earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science & Technology from the Beijing Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. In addition, they obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification in Computer Software Engineering from freeCodeCamp in 2017.
