Tekle B. has extensive experience in financial management and leadership roles. Tekle started their career as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, where they conducted financial analyses on grants. Tekle then worked as an Accounting Assistant for the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies, providing support to the School Accountant and Treasurer.
In 2009, Tekle became an Accounting Coordinator for the SEIU Healthcare NW Training Partnership, managing general ledger accounts and federal grants. Tekle also trained accounting staff on financial systems. Tekle later worked as an Accounting Coordinator for the Alzheimer's Association, leading and managing accounting operations, assisting in budget development, and preparing grant reports.
Tekle then took on the role of Accounting Manager at Building Changes, where they prepared financial statements and participated in budget development and monitoring. Tekle then served as Director of Finance and Administration at the Center for Human Services, overseeing the agency's finances and providing strategic leadership.
In 2019, Tekle became the Chief Financial Officer for the Housing Authority of Chelan County & the City of Wenatchee, leading financial administration and planning, supervising the accounting department, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local funds.
Tekle's most recent CFO roles include working at Plymouth Housing, where they provided strategic leadership, developed key performance indicators, and oversaw financial systems and processes. Currently, Tekle serves as the Chief Financial Officer at REACH Community Development, providing leadership to the accounting and finance team and managing annual budgets and financial partnerships.

Tekle B. has a strong educational background in business and finance. From 2009 to 2011, they attended the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, where they earned a Master of Accounting and Financial Management degree with a focus on CPA. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies, specializing in Business Management. Their undergraduate studies were completed between 1999 and 2004 at Ethiopia Adventist College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, majoring in Accounting and Business Management.
