Liam Myles has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Liam started their career as a Freelance Web Developer, working on projects that focused on improving SEO using WordPress. Liam then worked as a Full Stack Developer at www.CRUISE.co.uk, where they maintained the core website and a WordPress multi-site. Liam also worked as a Frontend Developer at Connect Group, where they primarily focused on React and Accessibility while working on Jaguar and Land Rover's websites and customer portal.

In 2019, they joined Day Out With The Kids as a Software Developer, contributing to the development of their platform. Liam also had a brief self-employment period, where they worked on a small Gatsby site during their break. Later, they joined Purplebricks Group PLC as a Frontend Engineer, working remotely on the Agent Experience inside agile product squads.

In 2021, Liam moved to Bonhams as a Frontend Developer, helping to transition their frontend to a more modern server-side rendered (SSR) approach using Next.js. Liam then joined Reach plc as a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, where they played a crucial role in the development of a green field project for the local news publishing industry. Liam managed the frontend development, ensuring the use of best practices and building complex UI features.

In 2022, Liam was promoted to the role of Interim Engineering Manager at Reach plc. In this role, they led a team and a project without authority, providing input to the department steering group and overseeing the line management of the Public Notice Portal Team.

Liam Myles studied Multimedia at Dublin City University from 2012 to 2015, earning a B.Sc. in Multimedia (Bachelor Honours Degree). Prior to that, they obtained a FETAC Level 5 certificate in Multimedia Production from Drogheda Institute of Further Education in 2011-2012. Liam also has additional certifications in AI for Product Management from Pendo.io and Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School.
