Imran Naved is an experienced aerothermal engineer currently working at Reaction Engines since November 2022. Previously, Imran served as a computational physicist at Fluid Gravity Engineering Ltd from February 2022 to November 2022 and gained valuable aerospace engineering experience during an internship at Facebook in 2016, where Imran contributed to the design of a novel wing structure for the Aquila aircraft. Earlier, Imran interned as a development engineer at Rolls-Royce, supporting the Trent7000 development team, and participated in aerospace supply chain initiatives with the same company. Additional experiences include a spring internship at Shell and teaching mathematics at Afghan Association Paiwand. Imran holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Hypersonics and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oxford.
