Daniel Rook is an experienced sports professional with a focus on disability and youth football coaching. Since July 2013, Rook has served as the My Ability Programme Manager at Reading Football Club, overseeing the club's disability programme. Concurrently, Rook has been an Under 7's coach at Colchester Villa since July 2012, developing young players' skills and managing them during matches. Previously, Rook worked as a Senior Project Worker at Ormiston Children and Families Trust, responsible for the Ability Project, a sports initiative for individuals with disabilities. Rook also has experience as a volunteer coach for the Colchester Town Ladies Under 13's team and the Colchester United Community Sports Trust, where coaching included training disabled children. Rook holds a degree in management, sport, and management from Otley College, obtained between 2008 and 2010.
