Andrew Leighty

Andrew Leighty is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical training and aircraft maintenance. Currently serving as a Training Coordinator at readysc within the SC Technical College System, Andrew conducts a range of technical training courses for over 1,800 employees at Volvo Cars Corporation. Andrew's previous military career in the United States Air Force encompassed various leadership roles, including Maintenance Superintendent, leading 412 personnel in the maintenance of AC-130 aircraft, and Development and Instructor Section Chief, overseeing qualification training programs for C-17 aircraft maintenance. In addition to military expertise, Andrew has pursued custom woodworking since 2016 and completed education in Aerospace Maintenance Technology and woodworking.
