Richard Sunderlin

Richard Sunderlin is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as an Instructor at readysc within the SC Technical College System since April 2023. Prior to this role, Richard worked at Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic from December 2017 to March 2023, holding positions as an Aircraft Mechanic Training Leader and Aircraft Mechanic. Richard also gained experience as an Aircraft Mechanic at M2 Services Corporation from August 2016 to December 2017 and at M2 Services from October 2015 to July 2016 as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic. Richard's extensive career began with the US Navy, where Richard served from September 1989 to September 2015, progressing through various ranks including Senior Chief Aviation Structural Mechanic. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which was completed between 2015 and 2017, as well as an Associate of Science degree in Aeronautics from the same institution, earned between 2012 and 2015.
