Derek Smith

Derek Smith is currently the Environmental and Landfill Manager at Real Alloy. Prior to this, Derek held positions such as Environmental and Sustainability Coordinator at Century Aluminum, EHS Director at Owensboro Grain Co Inc, and various environmental science-related roles at companies such as Owensboro Municipal Utilities and Western Kentucky Minerals. Derek holds a Master of Public Health in Environmental Science from Western Kentucky University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the same institution. Derek also studied at Harvard Extension School.
