Shankha Mitra

Shankha Mitra has worked in the technology industry since 1992. Shankha began their career at CAD Language Design Systems, Inc. as a Senior Engineer. In 1995, they moved to Synopsys, Inc. where they worked as a Senior Engineer. In 1997, they joined Antrim Design Systems, Inc. as a Principal Engineer, where they wrote the Verilog-AMS frontend and the mixed-signal elaboration between Verilog and Verilog-AMS. In 2002, they returned to Synopsys Inc. as a Principal Engineer, VCS/RTL Verification Group, where they worked on performance optimizations of the core engine of VCS. In 2017, they took a sabbatical from technology and worked as a Spiritual Program Coordinator at VAJRAPANI INSTITUTE FOR WISDOM CULTURE. Shankha returned to the industry in 2019, taking on the role of High Falutin' Computer Scientist at Real Intent.

Shankha Mitra completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 1988 and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 1990.
