Marco Moreno

Director of Product Design at Real Vision

Marco Moreno has held a variety of roles in the design industry over the past 20 years. In 2000, they began their career as a Flash/Web Designer at Element USA, where they created Flash movies for their street team website and built HTML surveys for the sales team. In 2005, they moved to Promotional Solutions as a Design Manager, where they hired and led a small team of designers, and worked with leadership to figure out best practices and workflows across multiple departments. In 2011, they joined Viacom as a Digital Designer, where they maintained brand styles and show property consistency across sites and apps. Marco was later promoted to Digital Design Director, where they oversaw Paramount Network brand executions on their O&O platforms. Marco then moved on to Senior Product Designer at SPIKE Digital Entertainment, where they were responsible for translating SPIKE TV's on-air campaigns into stunning online design. In 2018, they joined Real Vision as Director of Product Design and UX/UI Design Lead, where they were responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Product Design of the website, mobile apps, and OTT platforms, and collaborated with cross-functional business and project teams to design experiences that attract, inspire, educate, and solve real problems for their users and the business.

Marco Moreno has a diverse educational background. Marco obtained a Bachelors degree in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts in 1999-2001 and an Associates degree in Computer Animation from The Art Institutes in 1997-1999. Marco also took courses from General Assembly in 2016 in User Experience Design, Front-End Web Development, and Digital Marketing. In 2020, they obtained a certification from LinkedIn in Nir Eyal on Creating Habit-Forming Products.
