Guilhem Chalancon

Guilhem Chalancon has a diverse work experience, spanning various roles and industries. Guilhem started their career at Institut Curie and Marie Curie Research Institute as a Summer Research Student. Guilhem then worked as a Systems Biology Visiting Student at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology. In 2010, they served as a Fundraising Committee Member for the ISCB Student Council. Guilhem also worked as an M.Sc. student in Synthetic and Systems Biology at the University of Evry/Genopole.

After completing their studies at the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology, Guilhem joined Monitor Deloitte as a Strategy Analyst. Guilhem later became a Strategy Consultant at Monitor Deloitte's Analytics team, where they contributed to the development and delivery of predictive analytics solutions for various industries.

In 2018, Guilhem joined Realeyes - Attention Measurement, initially as a Senior Data Scientist, where they managed data science projects and a team of 4 data scientists. Guilhem then took on the role of Lead Data Scientist, overseeing the development of various products and R&D projects focused on machine learning model development. Currently, they serve as the VP of Product, directing the product development of PreView, an attention-measurement marketing analytics solution that utilizes deep learning and ML technology to improve creative and media performance for brands and agencies.

Guilhem Chalancon received their education from various prestigious institutions. Guilhem attended Lycée Sainte-Geneviève from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued BCPST (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Sciences). Guilhem then enrolled at École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Diplôme de l'ENS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Systems Biology and Synthetic Biology at the Institute of Systems & Synthetic Biology, Université Évry/Val d'Essonne from 2010 to 2011. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational/Systems Biology at the University of Cambridge from 2011 to 2015.
