Katie Howarth

Katie Howarth is a skilled Product Experience Designer and XR Designer currently working at RealizedCare since April 2022. With prior experience as a Project Lead at Hospice Savannah, Inc. from March 2020 to June 2022, Katie developed and implemented immersive therapy applications aimed at providing pain relief and reducing anxiety for patients. Additionally, Katie served as a Shift Manager at Your Pie Franchising, LLC, managing a team and ensuring high standards of food preparation and productivity from June 2020 to May 2022. In late 2021, Katie collaborated with 3M as an XR Designer through the SCAD Pro program, working on applications to address physician burnout using immersive technologies. Katie holds a degree in Immersive Reality, Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where studies were completed from 2018 to 2022.
