Thomas Capon

Thomas Capon is an experienced investment professional currently serving as an Investment Principal at Optum Ventures since August 2023. In addition to this role, Thomas acts as a Board Observer at BehaVR and has held directorships at PrOXisense and Brill Power, as well as serving as an Investment Manager at Oxford Science Enterprises, where the focus is on building science-based businesses in partnership with the University of Oxford. Previous experience includes serving as a Portfolio Manager at Legal & General and an Executive in Transaction Advisory Services at EY. Thomas holds a Master's Degree in Economics & Strategy from Imperial College London, a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham, and has also completed Level 1 Finance at the CFA Institute. Furthermore, Thomas has a diploma in Arabic Language and Literature from the Ibn Jabal Institute and attended Dubai College for high school education.
