Mateusz Mittek has been working in the field of embedded systems since 2009. Mateusz began their career as a Web/Server Software Engineer at NetCam S.C. in 2009. In 2012, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. There, they co-developed a depth camera-based Multi Object Tracking method for livestock monitoring using deep CNN for ear tag recognition and iterative EM-based point cloud clustering. Mateusz also proposed a Computer Vision method for automated animal weight estimation using depth images and deep Convolutional Neural Network. In 2016, they became a Volunteer Consultant/Electrical Engineering/Embedded Systems at FUSE Coworking. Finally, in 2018, they became an Embedded Systems Team Lead and Embedded Systems Developer at RealmFive.
Mateusz Mittek received their Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 2012 and 2019. Mateusz also received a Masters of Science and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology between 2005 and 2011.
