Bernard Gardner

Bernard Gardner has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Bernard is currently working at RealSelf as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer, a position they have held since April 2019. Prior to that, they worked at the same company as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer from January 2018 to April 2019.

Before joining RealSelf, Bernard worked at Spry Business Technology Solutions Pty Ltd, where they served as the Director and Founder from December 2006 to October 2017.

In 2006, Bernard also had a brief stint at Melbourne IT as a Solutions Consultant, where they provided pre-sales engineering for the corporate and government sales organization.

Bernard's earlier experiences include working at WebCentral as an Engineer, Technical Lead, and Team Lead, Unix Operations from 2005 to 2006. Bernard was also associated with messagecare as the General Manager and Chief Architect from 2003 to 2006, and with Worldcom as a Technical Trainer from 2000 to 2002.

Before that, Bernard worked at UUNET as a Senior Network Engineer and Internet Systems Engineer from 1999 to 2000. Bernard also held the role of Technology Manager, Datacasting at OzEmail from 1998 to 1999, and as a Systems Engineer at DFilm Services from April 1998 to October 1998.

Bernard Gardner completed a BSZ 404A Train Small Groups program at the Australian Institute of Management in 2000. Bernard then pursued their undergraduate studies in Computer Science at the University of Sydney, earning a BSc (Hons) degree from 1990 to 1993.
