Shannon Jensen

Shannon Jensen is currently the SVP, Associate General Counsel & Assistant Secretary at Realty Income. Prior to joining Realty Income, Shannon worked at Latham & Watkins for over 12 years, where they became a Senior Associate in Project Development & Finance. In this role, Shannon provided legal representation to domestic and international clients in forming, maintaining, and structuring transactions and joint venture arrangements. Her clients included real estate developers, REITs, lenders, issuers, and national gaming companies in a broad range of development, construction, licensing management, leasing, energy, and finance transactions.

During their time at Latham & Watkins, Shannon negotiated a $1.5B, 800,000sf mixed-use development of retail, restaurant, office, parking, hotel, and condominium space units in downtown Salt Lake City. Shannon also negotiated the finance and development documents for a $1B hotel resort and convention center. Additionally, Shannon has experience negotiating financing and development documents for construction and development of wind energy, geothermal power plants, and gas-fired electric generation facilities - including PPAs, EPCs, leases, and supply and O&M agreements. Finally, they have also negotiated financing documents for large scale hotel and casino developments in Macau, China and Wynn Las Vegas Resort.

Shannon Jensen has a Doctor of Law from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah.
