Alex Navarro

Alex Navarro currently serves as the District 2 Water and Wastewater Commissioner for the City of Austin, where responsibilities include reviewing policies related to the Water and Wastewater Utility and advising the city council on resource management. Additionally, Alex is a Realtor with Realty ONE Group Prosper and a Board Member for Keep Austin Beautiful, focusing on environmental education and community engagement. Previous experience includes serving as an Area Director and Corporate Account Manager at Camp Gladiator, where community wellness initiatives were developed and managed. Prior roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and the University of Michigan involved scientific research and manufacturing processes in pharmacology and chemistry, culminating in a Master's degree in Pharmacology and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and The University of Texas at San Antonio, respectively.
