Ahmed Adam has a diverse work experience in various companies. Ahmed is currently working as the Head of Illiquid Asset Oversight at Phoenix Group since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ReAssure as the Head of Investment Oversight from November 2017. Ahmed'sresponsibilities included credit risk management, internal ratings development, investment modeling, and deal screening for illiquid assets. Ahmed also served as the PRA Lead on Private Debt internal modeling.
Before joining ReAssure, Ahmed worked at Legal & General, where they held multiple roles. Ahmed was the Director of Investments Performance from May 2016 to April 2017. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Risk Analytics from June 2014 to May 2016 and the Head of Asset Risk Data from November 2011 to June 2014.
Earlier in their career, Ahmed worked at Thomson Reuters as a Senior Consultant in Trade & Risk Management from January 2007 to November 2011. Ahmed started their professional journey at Citi, where they worked as an Analyst in US Treasuries Trading from April 2004 to January 2007.
Ahmed Adam completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2004. Ahmed then pursued a Master's degree in Finance at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and completed it in 2013. Additionally, Ahmed participated in Executive Education Programs in Risk Management at Columbia Business School, which concluded in 2008.
