Katy DeRado

Katy DeRado has extensive work experience in accounting and administrative roles. Katy started their career at Accounting Options, Inc. as an Administration & Marketing Assistant from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Millennium Health as an Accounting & Executive Assistant, where they worked until 2015. In the same year, they also worked at DB Schenker as a CIHW International Accounts Payables Processor. In 2016, Katy joined Miva, Inc. as a Staff Accountant for a brief period. Katy then moved on to Alastin Skincare, Inc. in 2016 and served as a Staff Accountant until 2019. At Alastin Skincare, they were promoted to the position of Senior Staff Accountant & Payroll Specialist and held the role until 2021. Since 2021, Katy has been working at Rebalance Health, Inc. as a Senior Accountant & Payroll Specialist, and later as the Director of HR & Accounting from June 2022 to the present.

Katy DeRado obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management Information Systems from California State University San Marcos, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business Administration from MiraCosta College, where they attended from 2008 to 2013.

In addition to their degrees, Katy DeRado has also obtained several certifications. Katy received a Certificate of Proficiency in Payroll from MiraCosta College in December 2019. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate of Achievement in Bookkeeping and a Certificate of Proficiency in Billing, Cost, and Accounting Assistant, both from MiraCosta College. Furthermore, they obtained a Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) from the American Payroll Association in October 2020.
