Bettina Gardner

Bettina Gardner has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple organizations and industries. Their most recent role is as the Administrative Director for the AUC Data Science Initiative at the Atlanta University Center Consortium, Inc. In this role, they serve as the central administrator for ongoing activities related to data science. Prior to this, Bettina worked as a Principal Consultant at GEM Consulting LLC and as a Business Development professional at Rebirth Analytics. Bettina also has experience in higher education, having served as the Assistant Director for the Young African Leaders Initiative/Mandela Washington Fellowship at Clark Atlanta University. Additionally, Bettina was a 2017 Fellow at the Robert Bosch Stiftung, where they participated in a professional development program in Germany. Bettina has also held various positions in the City of Atlanta, including Interim Director of International Affairs, Deputy Director of International Affairs, and International Project Manager. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at WorldStrides, organizing educational programs for international residency and MBA delegations. Bettina also has experience in the retail industry, having worked as a Regional Assistant Manager for GUESS?, Inc. and as a North American Language & Cultural Ambassador for the Ministry of Education of Spain. Bettina also worked as a SUSTA Marketing Consultant at the Georgia Department of Agriculture, facilitating trade between southern U.S. companies and overseas importers. Bettina Gardner obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Multinational Business & Spanish from Florida State University - College of Business in the years 2001 to 2005. Bettina then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from the Thunderbird School of Global Management from 2006 to 2007. In 2008, they participated in the Intensive Spanish Summer Graduate Program at Middlebury College. Finally, they completed their education by earning a Master of Science (M.S.) in International Relations and Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2012.
