Head Of Electrical Engineering : Project Re:car at Re:Build Manufacturing

Joseph McCallum has a diverse and extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Joseph is currently working as the Head of Electrical Engineering for Project Re:Car at Re:Build Manufacturing since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Vehicle Product Engineering Director at ELMS: Electric Last Mile Solutions from January 2021 to September 2022. Before joining ELMS, they worked at SERES as the Manager of Customer Application Engineering from September 2019 to January 2021. Joseph has also had a long tenure at General Motors, where they held various roles, including Program Engineering Manager for the Bolt EV, Global Vehicle System Engineer for Electrical Integration, Architecture/Lead Wiring Engineer, and EMC System Engineer. Their responsibilities at General Motors included managing total vehicle engineering, electrical system integration, and launching new vehicle models in multiple global markets.

Joseph McCallum received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. Joseph then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, completing their studies from 1997 to 2000.
