Charles Cote

Charles Cote is the Co-Founder and CTO at Recare. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Criteo from September 2012 to April 2016. At Criteo, they were the tech lead for ImageProxy, a rewrite of a C++ application in Scala that served as a powered-up CDN for clients' product images. Charles also was part of a team of three that revamped a large part of Criteo's critical applicative workflow, including extracting and migrating the application that counts clicks and displays ads, and rewriting the real-time code used to optimize and render 3 billion ads served every day. Prior to Criteo, Charles interned as a Reservoir Engineer at Total E&P from January 2012 to June 2012, and as a Trading assistant at RBC Capital Markets from January 2011 to July 2011. Charles also interned as a Math & Modeling intern at Schlumberger from June 2010 to December 2010.

Charles Cote's educational career includes a MS in oil and mining commodities exploitation from Mines Paris.
