Moritz Grundmann

Moritz Grundmann possesses extensive experience in engineering, currently serving as Lead Engineer at RECARO Aircraft Seating since March 2018, where responsibilities include leading a team and overseeing the technical management of assigned components. Prior experience at RECARO includes the role of Ergonomics Design Engineer, focusing on foam design and development for optimal seating comfort through pressure distribution analysis and structural design based on weight, cost, and ergonomic requirements, alongside constructing and simulating CATIA V5 models and collaborating with suppliers. Earlier experience includes a position at Technische Universität Chemnitz, where Moritz Grundmann completed a Master's thesis in the field of plastics, developing methodologies for testing device reproducibility and conducting material analyses. Moritz Grundmann holds a Master of Science in Sports Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Technische Universität Chemnitz.
