Juan Manuel Noriega Terán

Sr. Prototype Engineer at RECARO Automotive

Juan Manuel Noriega Terán has worked in the automotive industry since 2013. Juan Manuel began as a Scholarship at Audatex, where they maintained and updated price and part lists, as well as researched new arrivals and trend topics. In 2015, they became a Product Development Engineer at Asientos Vehiculares Astron, where they were responsible for production supervision of coach seats, quality alerts, visual aids, 8D analysis, customer deviations, and core tools knowledge. In 2017, they moved to Adient as a Trim Engineer, where they developed patterns for automotive seat trim covers and created the sew process for production. Currently, they are a Sr. Prototype Engineer at RECARO Automotive, where they are responsible for pattern development for trim covers, creating the sew process for production, urethane foam skiving, material selection, cover sewing, cover assembly, complete seat assembly, and seat finishing. Juan Manuel also manages and maintains BOMs, Program IDs, Part Creation and Update, Creation of Sewing Components, Materials, and miscellaneous, and Color Matrix Maintenance.

Juan Manuel Noriega Terán studied Mechanical Engineering at Universidad del Valle de México from 2011 to 2015, earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Juan Manuel also obtained a Seizure recognition and first air certification from the Epilepsy Foundation in September of 2022.
