Danny Wheeler

Danny Wheeler is an experienced IT professional with a career spanning over 15 years. Danny began their career in 2007 as a Solution Architect at ALCATEL-LUCENT (now Nokia), where they were the lead architect on multiple IPTV and Multiscreen video proof-of-concept system development efforts, demos and customer engagements. In 2011, they joined Ericsson as a Solution Architect, managing projects in EU/US/LATAM and focusing on mobile technologies for media delivery. In 2012, they founded Vaulter, a cloud transformation-focused MSP, specializing in transitioning organizations from legacy infrastructure and connectivity to hybrid/public/private cloud-based environments. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as an Information Technology Manager for both the City of Celina and the City of Sachse, Texas, where they built new IT departments from the ground up, retooled budgets to eliminate waste, audited contracts for SLA adherence and performance, and implemented redundant virtualized infrastructures across multiple sites with failover. Currently, they are the Director of IT at Recast Software, responsible for the short/long term technology vision, strategy, implementation of IT roadmap and management of IT portfolio.

Danny Wheeler obtained a BAAS Organizational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Danny has also obtained several certifications, including Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2022, COBIT® 2019 Foundation Certificate from ISACA in August 2022, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in December 2020, ITIL® Foundation v3 from AXELOS Global Best Practice, Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) from Microsoft, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) from Microsoft.
