Jean Murphy has a strong background in finance and leadership roles. In 1996, they started their career at Goldman Sachs as a Vice President. Jean then worked at ACP Partners LLP as a Partner from 2002 to 2010. Afterwards, they joined Morgan Stanley as an Executive Director from 2010 to 2013. Jean then moved to Credit Suisse as a Director from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they founded FSG where they served as the Managing Director. Additionally, they had various board memberships and committee positions, including being a Member Board Of Trustees at The Old Vic and an Investment Committee Member at Barts Charity. Currently, they have taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Recognise Bank starting in August 2022.
Jean Murphy attended the University of Cambridge from 1991 to 1994, where they studied Computer Science and Philosophy. They did not complete a degree during this time.
