Terry McLoughlin serves as the Trust Sepsis Clinical Lead, Emergency Medicine Consultant, and Deputy Clinical Director of Research at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since November 2018. Additionally, Terry works as a Consultant with Re:Cognition Health and as a Medicolegal Expert for The McLoughlin Medical Group Ltd. Terry holds honorary lecturer positions at Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Liverpool, and serves as the Emergency Medicine Section Secretary & President Elect at the Royal Society of Medicine. Also, Terry is a Race Doctor for the British Horseracing Authority and has previously held roles as a Research Scholar with the NIHR, Divisional Lead in Wellbeing, and Departmental Education Lead within the NHS. Educational qualifications include Fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (FRCEM), Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM), and a medical degree (MBChB) from The University of Sheffield.
