Amir Hamaoui

Amir Hamaoui has a diverse work experience spanning 20 years. From 2002-2015, they worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Advanced Simulation and Analysis at Bechtel Corporation. From 2015-2018, they held multiple roles at Synchro Software Ltd, including Platform Manager, Senior Virtual Design and Construction Delivery Specialist, and Technical Product Manager at Bentley Systems. In 2019, they were a Senior Construction Solutions Consultant at Digital Construction Works, and in 2020 they became the Director of Customer Operations at Reconstruct Inc. Additionally, since 2000, they have been an Artist Consultant at Amir Hamaoui Art, Design and Engineering Consultation, where they work with fine artists on the design, fabrication, and installation of projects.

Amir Hamaoui obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley between 1997 and 2002. Amir then obtained a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Computational Fluid and Structural Mechanics from the University of Southern California between 2010 and 2014. In 2009, they obtained a LEED AP Building Design and Construction certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Amir also obtained a Professional Engineer, Mechanical certification from the California Department of Consumer Affairs in 2005.
