Matt Stride

Matt Stride has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matt is currently employed as a Threat Operations Manager at Recorded Future since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Managed Services Team Lead - EMEA at Recorded Future from October 2021 to November 2022. Matt also served as a Threat Intelligence Response Analyst at Recorded Future from January 2021 to October 2021.

Before joining Recorded Future, Matt worked as an Author at Striding For Security starting from June 2020. Matt also gained experience as an Information Security Analyst at Bupa from August 2020 to January 2021.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked at McLaren Group, starting as an IT innovation intern from June 2016 to September 2016. Matt continued their journey at McLaren and held multiple roles as an IT Graduate, including Cyber Security, Data Analytics, and Service and Operations. These roles allowed him to develop skills in incident response, Azure Information Protection, Power BI reporting, SQL, and active directory. Matt was also involved in managing various projects and implementing ITSM tools.

Overall, Matt Stride has gained comprehensive experience and a diverse skill set through their roles in threat intelligence, managed services, information security, and IT operations.

Matt Stride attended Newcastle under lyme college from 2012 to 2014, where they pursued a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Information Technology. After completing their diploma, they enrolled at Keele University in 2014 and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Matt Stride has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they received the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA. In 2021, they obtained the Recorded Future Certified Analyst and Recorded Future Certified User certifications from Recorded Future. In 2020, Matt attained the PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation & Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
