Syed Gilani

Syed Gilani possesses extensive experience in the textile industry, currently serving as the Regional Head of Tech Support at Recover since January 2022. Prior to this role, Gilani held the position of Technical Director at Spinning from August 2020 to December 2021 and served as General Manager of the Textile Spinning Division at Grupo Karim's from February 2018 to January 2020, where notable achievements included the installation and operational success of a 34,000 spindle Rieter Plant alongside a Murata 870 Vortex Spinning system. Additional roles include Deputy General Manager at Sapphire Textile Mills Limited, Plant Manager at Mustaqim Dyeing & Printing Industries (Pvt) Ltd, and Technical Manager at Gulistan Group of Companies, emphasizing expertise in planning, production, quality control, and project management. Gilani began the career as an ASM at Eastern Spinning Mills and commenced with training at Sapphire Textile Mills Limited after earning a B.Sc. (Honors) in Textile Science from the Textile Institute of Pakistan.
