Brian Mooney

Brian Mooney has a diverse work experience in the fields of recruitment, human resources, and entrepreneurship. Brian is currently employed at Recruitics as a Product professional. Prior to this, they co-founded Jamyr in 2022. From 2020 to 2022, they served as the CEO of NextWave Hire and before that, held the position of General Manager from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they also started and hosted "The Talent Bubble Podcast," where they interviewed professionals from HR, TA, and People Ops backgrounds. Additionally, they founded Job Honey, a job board for HR professionals, in 2020 before it was acquired. Before entering the HR and recruitment field, Brian held managerial roles at New England Donor Services and New England Organ Bank. Brian also gained experience in human resources as an assistant at Caritas Christi Health Care. Brian Mooney obtained a Bachelor's degree in History from Emmanuel College (Boston) between 2003 and 2007. In 2017, they completed a program in Digital Marketing at General Assembly. Additionally, they received certificates in Human Resources Management from the New England Human Resources Association (NEHRA), including one in HR: Beyond the Basics and another in HR Basics.
