Mariam Jaafar

Mariam Jaafar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mariam started their career as a Legal Assistant at the Queens District Attorney's Office in 2018, where they worked for two months. In 2019, they gained experience as a Data Analyst Intern at TruFund Financial Services for seven months.

Mariam then interned at the NYPD Office of the Deputy Commissioner - Legal Matters as an NYPD Legal Bureau Intern for six months in 2020. Later that year, they joined the NYC Department of Education as a Co Teacher and worked there for almost a year.

In 2021, Mariam worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at St. John's University for the academic year. Mariam then transitioned to Notch Partners in October 2021 as an Operations Coordinator. At Notch Partners, they contributed to assembling customized talent ecosystems for private equity firms until December 2022.

Most recently, Mariam joined Recruitics in January 2023 as a Programmatic Media Analyst.

Mariam Jaafar completed their education with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Criminology from St. John's University between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government from Baruch College from 2016 to 2020. Before entering college, Mariam obtained their High School Diploma in Fine and Studio Arts from the Frank Sinatra School of The Arts High School, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
