Marina Eskander

Marina Eskander has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Marina currently serves as an Advisory Council Member at Syelo since September 2023. Before that, they were the Head of Talent at Recurrent Ventures from March 2022. Marina also worked as the Head of Talent: Acquisition, Engagement, and Inclusion at Promenade Group from July 2021 to March 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of People and Business Development at SQRD Lab from January 2020 to July 2021. Marina has also held positions such as Head of People at Emerge, Inc. from August 2018 to January 2020, Senior Executive Talent Partner at Adecco from February 2017 to August 2018, Director of Talent Acquisition at Adobe from June 2013 to February 2017, and Director of Recruiting at New York Life Insurance Company from July 2009 to June 2013.

Marina Eskander's education history includes a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Marina also obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on Social Epidemiology-Urban Health Disparities from the same university. Marina Eskander holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology from the University of California, Riverside. In addition to their degrees, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the Management and Strategy Institute in 2019.
