Simon Smith

Simon Smith possesses extensive experience in robotics and laboratory automation, currently serving as the Associate Director of Robotics and Laboratory Automation at Recursion since November 2024. Prior to this role, Simon held positions at Exscientia, including Associate Director of Robotic and Lab Automation and Senior Robotic and Laboratory Specialist from March 2022 to November 2024. Simon's career also includes significant tenure at Zinsser Analytic GmbH as an Application Engineer from August 2005 to March 2022, and earlier experience in robotic support at the Forensic Science Service from August 1998 to July 2005. Simon is an alumnus of the University of Birmingham.
