Cara Marie

Cara Marie has a strong background in security and infrastructure. Cara currently holds the position of VP of Security & Infrastructure at Recurve since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Opendoor as a Senior Staff Offensive Security Engineer from June 2021 to June 2023. Before Opendoor, they served as an Offensive Security Manager at Datadog from September 2017 to March 2021. Cara also has experience as a Principal Security Consultant at NCC Group from June 2015 to September 2017, and as a Security Consultant at iSEC Partners from October 2013 to June 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Web Designer at BizAssure from December 2010 to May 2013, where they were responsible for designing, constructing, managing, and maintaining web design projects and media campaigns. Cara also wrote site and design company protocols. Cara started their career as an Office Manager at jakdesign from December 2007 to October 2008.

Cara Marie attended Concordia University-Irvine from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature, General. Cara then attended Parsons School of Design from 2005 to 2008, focusing on Graphic Design and Printmaking. In 2013, they participated in a CS Intensive program at Hackbright Academy.
