James Qi

James Qi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. James most recently worked as a Product Director at Recurve since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Contractor Management at Sealed from October 2020 to January 2022.

From 2016 to 2020, James held multiple positions at Lime Energy, including Associate Vice President for Product Development/Innovation Region and Director of Client Services. During their time at Lime Energy, they led various initiatives related to energy efficiency programs, customer acquisition processes, and development of new energy efficiency measures.

Before joining Lime Energy, James worked at Donnelly Energy as a Senior Project Manager and Project Manager from 2010 to 2016. James also had involvement with the Solar Thermal Consortium and served as a Steering Committee member from 2009 to 2011.

From 2009 to 2011, James was the Project Manager of Volunteers at the Project Management Institute, Long Island Chapter. Prior to that, they worked at Steve & Barry's as a Project Manager in various fields such as SAP/MDM & Global Trade Management, Distribution & Warehouse Facilities, and Engineering & Facilities.

Early in their career, James served as the Director of Database & Office Administration at Junior Achievement of New York from 2004 to 2006. James also worked as a Database & Systems Administrator at Manhattan College from 1999 to 2004 and as an Adult Education Instructor at Monroe Woodbury Central School District from 1998 to 2000.

James Qi has a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan College, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution, from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Python Data Structures" and "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" from Coursera, and "OSHA 30-HR General Industry Hazard Recognition" from the American Safety Council, Inc.
