Nicolai Schubart

Nicolai Schubart is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Save the Children Denmark since May 2025, Nicolai leads financial strategy, compliance, and risk management while overseeing budgeting and reporting for global programs. Previously, Nicolai held the CFO position at Dansk Blindesamfund and the role of Økonomi- og Administrationschef (CFO) at Det Nationale Sorgcenter, contributing to strategic development, HR, and fundraising initiatives. Nicolai's earlier roles include leadership positions in budget, accounting, and payroll at Albertslund Kommune and Høje Taastrup Kommune, as well as political secretariat positions in different governmental departments. Nicolai possesses strong academic credentials, holding a Master of Governance from Copenhagen Business School and a Master of Public Administration from Roskilde University.
