Rachael Hardway has a diverse and extensive work experience in the music industry. Rachael began their career in 2006 as an Event Planner for Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, where they organized and promoted various events. In 2010, they joined Mediaguide as a Music Content & Media Relations specialist, providing business insights to major clients in the music industry. Rachael then worked at Passionate Marketing as an Industry Relations & Digital Marketing Manager, specializing in branded content and culture marketing for clients such as Universal Music Group and Sony Music.
In 2011, Rachael became the Director of New Media & Marketing at Verse Music Group, focusing on acquiring music-related intellectual property rights and assets. Rachael later joined Sony Music Entertainment in 2013, initially as a Digital Content Manager and then as the Director of Digital Strategy & Online Creative. During their time at Sony, they managed label and artist websites, developed marketing strategies, and utilized social media platforms to increase fan interaction and measure market success.
In 2018, Rachael took on the role of Director, Digital Strategy & Creative at RECORDS, LLC, a division of Sony Music Entertainment. Rachael oversaw digital strategy, marketing, and creative for multi-genre acts, achieving Gold and Platinum status for several artists. Rachael's expertise included analyzing streaming data, directing commercial and digital strategy campaigns with various platforms, and establishing online branding strategies.
Most recently, Rachael joined Saban Music Group in 2020 as the Sr. Director of Digital, responsible for digital initiatives and strategies. Rachael is currently working at Red Bull Records as the Director of Digital Marketing.
Rachael Hardway obtained a B.A. in Communication Studies & Public Relations from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2010. In 2015, they attended Shillington Education and became a Certified Graphic Designer.
