Pablo Suarez has extensive experience in research and innovation, currently serving as the Associate Director for Research and Innovation at the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre since July 2005. In addition, Pablo has held positions as a Visiting Research Fellow at Boston University's Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future since May 2008, and an Honorary Associate Professor at the UCL Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy since March 2014. Other roles include Senior Fellow at the Adrienne Arsht-Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center at the Atlantic Council since October 2019, and Artist in Residence at the National University of Singapore's Institute for the Public Understanding of Risk. Pablo also serves as a Consultant for The World Bank and various organizations, and has been a faculty member at the University of Lugano since 2010. Pablo holds a Ph.D. in Geography from Boston University.
