Nelson Griffin has extensive experience in supply chain management and leadership roles. Nelson started their career at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, where they served as Vice President of Purchasing & Distribution, overseeing strategic procurement and distribution for the restaurant operations. Nelson also spearheaded a corporate strategy to improve diversity and brand perception.
Nelson then moved on to Kellogg Company, where they worked as the Director of Strategic Procurement. After that, they joined Darden Restaurants as Vice President of Supply Chain, responsible for managing the supply chain organization.
Most recently, Nelson Griffin has held positions at Red Lobster and Red Lobster Seafood Company as Senior Vice President and Vice President of Supply Chain respectively. In these roles, they were accountable for all aspects of the supply chain organization, supporting the needs of over 700 restaurants and managing significant spend on various resources.
Throughout their career, Nelson Griffin has demonstrated a strong focus on supply chain management and leadership, with a particular emphasis on achieving quality standards and operational efficiency.
Nelson Griffin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 2009. Nelson also pursued studies in Electrical Engineering at Eastern Oklahoma State College. Additionally, they obtained a certification in C.P.S.M., from the ISM.
