Edelyn Parker-Frye has a diverse work experience, starting in 2005 at Shadowbox Cabaret as a Box Office Manager and later becoming the Company Events Director. In this role, they managed sales and planning for outside Company and Private Events, including lead cultivation, drafting proposals and contracts, and handling monetary details. Edelyn also oversaw a small team in selling event space and services to local businesses. In 2011, they joined Shadowbox Live as the Assistant Director of Community Relations and eventually became the Assistant to the Director of Marketing. In 2017, they joined Red Roof Inn as an Executive Administrative Assistant to the CMO and later became the Interim Executive Assistant to the President and CMO. Currently, they hold the position of Brand Event Manager and has recently been appointed as the Director of Brand Events, Communications, and Partnerships.
Edelyn Parker-Frye obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA degree in Acting from Florida State University in the years 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2001, they attended the New World School of the Arts for Musical Theatre, though they did not obtain a degree from there.
