Ivan Gilchrist

Ivan Gilchrist has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Ivan started their career as a Web Producer at Webforia in 2000 and later worked as a Web Developer at T-Mobile and Iron Mountain. In 2003, they joined Microsoft as a Web Developer, where they enhanced the MSN Subscription sign-up website. Ivan then worked at Washington Mutual as a Web Developer before moving back to Microsoft in 2004.

At Microsoft, Ivan gained extensive experience in software development, including developing web applications using ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, XML, XSLT, C++, JAVA, Apache Tomcat, Freemarker, Spring, and Java beans. Ivan also worked on projects involving REST API integration, Windows Azure, SQL Azure, ASP.Net, Azure Worker Role service, and HTML5 canvas and SVG reports.

In 2008, Ivan joined Expedia.com as a Software Design Engineer, where they developed complete web applications and created interactive online graphical reports and charts. Ivan then joined Microsoft's Health Solutions Group, where they developed custom web applications using ASP.Net.

In 2013, Ivan joined The Walt Disney Company as a Lead Software Developer, where they led the UI team and designed a JavaScript library for accessing core web services. Ivan later joined red violet in 2015 as a Principal Software Development Engineer, leading the design and development of frontend services and systems, including web APIs, web sites, UIs, authentication, authorization, and customer databases.

Throughout their career, Ivan has gained expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, and has proven their ability to lead teams and develop innovative software solutions.

Ivan Gilchrist attended Shoreline Community College from 1998 to 1999. During this time, they studied music and computers, although they did not earn a degree.
