Amit Shiwalkar

Amit Shiwalkar has extensive experience in sensor design and R&D within the imaging technology sector. Currently serving as a Fellow and Manager of the Sensor Design Group at RED Digital Cinema since January 2010, Amit has a strong background that includes roles as a Senior Scientist at Teledyne Scientific & Imaging, focusing on high-end CMOS image sensors and analog circuits from February 2007 to January 2010, and as a Senior Scientist at Biomorphic VLSI, specializing in analog circuit design and device characterization from October 1999 to January 2007. Additionally, Amit has worked as a consultant for Biomorphic Microsystems Corporation and as a Wireline Logging Engineer for Halliburton Energy Services. Amit holds a PhD from UCLA, along with an MTECH in Biomedical Engineering and a BTECH in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
