Rex Oleson

Rex Oleson has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and management. Rex most recently served as the Director of Software Systems Engineering at Red 6 since April 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Engineering Manager at Luminar Technologies from March 2020 to May 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at Phoenix Logistics, Inc. from 2013 to March 2020. Rex also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at SAIC from July 2008 to 2013. Rex gained valuable experience during their time as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Florida from 2001 to 2008. Additionally, Rex worked as a Software Engineer at 3Plex, Iconomy, SpaceWeb, and ObjectSpace, where they gained technical expertise and contributed to various software development projects.

Rex Oleson obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at Susquehanna University from 1993 to 1997, earning a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics.
