Patrick Gavin Matweew

Patrick Gavin Matweew has an extensive work experience in the energy sector. Patrick Gavin began their career in 2005 as the Head of Regional Procurement for PV Modules at Schüco International (Beijing) Co., Ltd. Patrick Gavin then moved to Schüco International KG in 2008 as the Head of Global Purchasing and Head of Purchasing PV Modules Asia Pacific, Solar Division. In 2014, they joined Sunedison Products Singapore Pte Ltd. as the Senior Manager Contract Management, Product Portfolio and Supply Strategy. In 2017, they took on the role of Transitional General Manager at True Value Solar. Patrick Gavin then joined M+W Group in 2015 as the Head of Procurement and Energy Business Development Director APAC. In 2019, they became a Board Member of The Australian Power Institute and in 2020 they were appointed CEO of Luceo Energy. From 2017 to 2020, they were also the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Redback Technologies, where they were responsible for turning the company from a start-up to the leading Australian-owned and operated solar and home battery solution provider.

Patrick Gavin Matweew completed a Master of Business and Engineering (MBE) from Steinbeis Hochschule from 2004 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Diplom in Regional Sciences East Asia from the University of Cologne from 1996 to 2004. Patrick Gavin also obtained a Certificate in Chinese Language from Xiamen University from 1999 to 2000.
