Benjamin Shapiro

Benjamin Rubinoff is an Associate Therapist and Therapist-in-Training at Redbird THERAPY, with prior experience as a Psychotherapy Practicum Student at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton focusing on concurrent disorders and substance use. Benjamin’s background includes roles as a Crisis & Distress Responder at the Distress Centres of Greater Toronto, providing emotional support and crisis intervention, and as a Support Group Facilitator for Parkinson Canada, where facilitation and psychoeducation were central. Additional experience includes research and coordination roles in trauma-informed programs and healthcare management consulting. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Western University, a Postgraduate Degree in Addictions and Mental Health from Humber College, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Psychotherapy at McMaster University.
