Josh Heyer is a Geospatial Specialist in Research and Development at Redcastle Resources, where employment began in August 2019. Concurrently, Josh Heyer has been pursuing a PhD in Geography at the University of Utah since April 2018, also contributing as a Laboratory Technician, processing field samples for paleoecological research. Previous experience includes an internship as a Lidar and remote sensing data analyst at Redcastle Resources and a role as a GIS Technician and Analyst at the University of Utah DIGIT Lab. Josh Heyer participated in the National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship Program and mentored a high school student on a paleoecological project during tenure as a Ph.D. student at the University of Utah. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Geography from the University of Utah, alongside BA in Spanish Language and Literature and a BS in Geography from the University of Wyoming.
