Blair Matheson

Blair Matheson has extensive work experience in business intelligence (BI) and data analysis. They started their career as a Credit Assistant in 2002 and subsequently worked as a Credit Analyst, focusing on analyzing financials and identifying potential risks. In 2008, they transitioned into a Systems Analyst role, providing support and improving data accuracy within the Credit team. From 2011 to 2018, Blair worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst, introducing self-service BI solutions and improving data management processes. They then took on the role of Change Implementation Lead, leading the BI element of a business transformation program. Most recently, Blair worked as a Senior BI Analyst at Northgate plc, leading end-to-end BI and reporting projects using Power BI as the frontend solution. In 2021, they joined Redde Northgate plc as the Lead BI Designer. Overall, Blair has demonstrated their ability to design and build robust enterprise BI platforms and drive data-driven decision making within organizations.

Blair Matheson attended Teesside University from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a HNC in Computer Systems Analysis. They also have various certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate, among others. Additionally, they have completed certifications in Agile Development from ETH Zurich and Statistical Thinking for Data Science and Analytics from Columbia University in the City of New York.
